Hypnosis refers to a very enjoyable, comfortable and deep state of natural relaxation in which one is both fully in control and aware, but very beautifully relaxed.
A common misconception of hypnosis is that it involves another individual somehow ‘gaining control of’, or forcibly altering, our psyche. This is in fact NOT what hypnosis is and such control of another person’s body or mind is not possible through hypnosis or any other therapy or process of which I am aware. During hypnosis you will at all times remain in control and aware of everything around you. You will be fully able to respond and react as normal when and if needed. You’ll just be very beautifully relaxed.
